Clearing the Cache (Browsing History)
The Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Website Browser stores copies of accessed pages in the cache. By doing this Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Website Browser does not have to retrieve the page from the network each time you view the web page.

To clear the cache:

1. Select Tools >> Internet Options
   
   Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Tools >> Internet Options
2. From the Internet Options on the General Tab under the Browsing History Section Click the Delete button

3. You will then be presented with a further dialogue giving you the option to delete various Browsing History related information. You can choose either to simply Delete... Temporary Internet Files or to choose the Delete All... option at the bottom of the dialogue.

Changing the Cache Settings
You can change the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Cache Options from the Internet Options dialogue Tools >> Internet Options

1. If you wish to change the size of the cache click the Settings Button (Next to the Delete... button) in the Browsing history section.

2. Set the Cache size to the desired level and click the OK button to set your new cache level

NOTE: A larger cache allows more data to be quickly retrieved, but more of your hard disc space is used.
