Howto Install a Certificate
You can install our Root Certificate in most Browsers by simply clicking on this link to open the installation dialogue in your Browser. More detailed instructions for specific browsers are shown below.

Installing a Root Certificate in Internet Explorer 6
Click here to Install the Linx Data Ltd. Root Certificate once you have clicked this link you will be presented with the following dialogue.

Click Open to open the Certificate.

Click Install Certificate to install the certificate. The Certificate Installation Wizard will now start.

Click Next to continue.

You can now simply click Next to continue.

Now Simply click Finish to complete the installation process.

Installing a Root Certificate in Mozilla Firefox
Click here to Install the Linx Data Ltd. Root Certificate once you have clicked this link you will be presented with the following dialogue.

Select Trust this CA to identify web sites you may check other options depending on what you may be requiring this certificate to validate.

You may wish to click View to examine the Certificate though this is generally not necessary.

Next click OK to continue.

The Certificate will now have been installed.

Installing a Root Certificate in Opera
Click here to Install the Linx Data Ltd. Root Certificate once you have clicked this link you will be presented with the following dialogue.

Click Install to install the certificate.

Click OK the Certificate is now installed.

Installing a Root Certificate in Netscape
Click here to Install the Linx Data Ltd. Root Certificate once you have clicked this link you will be presented with the following dialogue.

Select Trust this CA to identify web sites you may check other options depending on what you may be requiring this certificate to validate.

You may wish to click View to examine the Certificate though this is generally not necessary.

Next click OK to continue.

The Certificate will now have been installed.

Installing a certificate Problems and Warnings

Internet Explorer 6 Certificate Problems and Warnings
When you arrive at a secure page or site you will be warned with an Internet Explorer 6 Security Popup

Click OK to continue

You may now be presented with the Server Certificate Security box.

You now have two options. Either click Yes to continue to the page for this session only or click View Certificate. If you Click Yes you will be prompted with the security alert every time you visit the website.

If you click View Certificate you will be presented with the following dialogue.

Click Install Certificate to install the Certificate in your Browser. You will not encounter the security warning for sites using that Root Certificate again.

Mozilla Firefox Certificate Problems and Warnings
When you arrive at a secure page or site you will be warned with a Mozilla Firefox Security Popup.

You now have two options. Either click OK to continue to the page for this session only or check You will however be prompted with the security alert every time you visit the website.

If you check Accept this certificate permanently and then click OK you will not see the security warning again for sites using that Root Certificate again.

Opera Certificate Problems and Warnings
When you arrive at a secure page or site you will be warned with an Opera Browser Security Popup.

If you click Accept then the Certificate will be accepted for this session only and you will see the same warning each time you visit the site. Alternativley you can click View and the following dialogue will open.

Check the Allow connections to sites using this certificate and then click on OK and you will not see the security warning for sites using that Root Certificate again.

Netscape Certificate Problems and Warnings
When you arrive at a secure page or site you will be warned with a Netscape Browser Security Popup.

You now have two options. Either click OK to continue to the page for this session only or check You will however be prompted with the security alert every time you visit the website.

If you check Accept this certificate permanently and then click OK you will not see the security warning again for sites using that Root Certificate again.
