This page will show how to configure and use the Netscape Email program.
This how to is based on Netscape version 6.2, but should also with small adjustments be applicable for most other versions and also Mozilla.

Start Netscape.

Click on the small mail icon in the bottom left corner:

Choose the menu item Edit >> Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

A new window will pop up - now create a new account by clicking New Account. make sure the check box is marked by ISP or email provider before clicking Next.

In Your Name: Type Your Full name or company name.
This will appear on all emails sent by you. Use upper and lower case i.e. Linx Data Ltd.

In Email address: Type your email address i.e. (info@domain.co.uk).

Click Next to continue.

For Select the type of incoming server you are using. Select POP.

In the Incoming Server section.
In Server Name: Type your incoming mail server as supplied i.e. mail.domain.co.uk

In the Outgoing Server (SMTP) section.
In Server Name: Type your outgoing mail server as Provided by your ISP.

Click Next to continue.

For User Name: Type your user name as supplied i.e. username@domain.co.uk.

Clicking Next will take you to the summation of the entered information - check to see everything is in order and accept by clicking the Finish button.
