This page will show how to configure and use the Mac OSX Email program.

Open MAC OS X Mail.

Click Mail >> Preferences.

Click Accounts to bring up the accounts preferences panel.

Click the "+" (lower/left highlighted in green) to add an account.

For Account Type: Select POP.

In Description: Type Your Full name or company name.
Use upper and lower case i.e. Linx Data Ltd.

In Email address: Type your email address i.e. (info@domain.co.uk).

In Full Name: Type Your Full name or company name.
This will appear on all emails sent by you. Use upper and lower case i.e. Linx Data Ltd.

In Incoming Mail Server: Type your incoming mail server as supplied i.e. mail.domain.co.uk

For User Name: Type your user name as supplied i.e. username@domain.co.uk.

In Password: Type your password as provided i.e. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

In Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Click Server Settings. If this is not already setup.

In Outgoing Mail Server: Type your outgoing mail server as Provided by your ISP.

For User Name: Type your user name as supplied by your ISP.

In Password: Type your password as provided by your ISP.

Click OK to close the SMTP Server Options.

Close the Accounts dialog and test your mail.
