This page will show how to configure and use the Outlook 2000 Email program.
Start Microsoft Outlook 2000
In Microsoft Outlook, select .
To set up your email select the Yes radio button.
Click to continue.

On this screen you have the option to import your email settings from another email client or to set up a brand new one.
If you don't have an email client set up already, select the Create a new Internet mail account radio button, then click to continue.

In Display Name: Type Your Full name or company name.
This will appear on all emails sent by you. Use upper and lower case i.e. Linx Data Ltd.

In E-mail address: Type your email address i.e. (info@domain.co.uk)
and then click on to continue.

Make sure that POP3 is selected in the drop down menu My incoming mail server is a ? server.
In Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: Type your incoming mail server as supplied i.e. mail.domain.co.uk
In Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Type your outgoing mail server as Provided by your ISP.
Click on to continue.

For Account Name: Type your user name as supplied i.e. username@domain.co.uk.
In Password: Type your password as provided i.e. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Put a tick in Remember password checkbox.
The account name must be in lowercase, the password is case sensitive.
Click on to continue.

Click on to complete the setup.
