This page will show how to configure and use the Thunderbird Email program.

Start Thunderbird.

In the main window select Create a new account.

Click Next to continue.

Select the Email account radio button.

Click Next to continue.

In Your Name: Type Your Name (as you would actually type it using upper and lower case i.e. Linx Data Ltd.) Enter your first and last name or business name.

In E-mail Address: Type Your E-mail Address i.e (info@domain.co.uk).

Click Next to continue.

In Incoming mail (POP3) server: Type your incoming mailserver i.e. (mail.domain.co.uk)
Your incoming server is mail.mydomain.co.uk, where "mydomain.co.uk" is the name of your domain.

Click Next to continue.

In Incoming User Name: Type your username as supplied.

Click Next to continue.

In Your Name: Type Your Name (as you would actually type it using upper and lower case i.e. Linx Data Ltd.) Enter your first and last name or business name.

Click N ext to continue.

You will get a summary, check your information.

If everything is ok click Finish to exit the wizard.

Mark your email address and press Get mail.

You are immediately asked for the password to your email account, fill in and press OK, you can also choose if you want Thunderbird to remember the password.
