Redesign Example
Below is an example of a website redesign. The original was created entirely in Flash, making it take a great deal of time to download and very difficult and expensive to update. As the site was constructed entirely in Flash it was not optimised for search engines or accessible to screen readers. NOTE: Flash has come a long way since the construction of the site below, however sites constructed entirely of Flash do take much longer to download than structural markup websites. At Linx Data Ltd. we firmly believe that commercial sites should be fast and accessible to the widest possible audience. The original site also did not feature consistent navigation or provide any room for expansion.

Below is the redesigned website. The new site features fast easy navigation with plenty of room for future expansion and the addition of additional sections and sub sections. It is constructed with structural markup and can be updated easily. You will note that it also displays a much greater amount of information per page. The design is not limited to just the opening viewable window. More information can be added within the existing pages too. This is obviously not the case in the Flash only example above.

The original site failed to bring in business or to do well in the search engines. The replacement site has produced excellent search engine results and brought in significant additional business to the company to the extent that the company is now expanding to new much larger premises.
